EDH Shop Categories

Опис

A simple plugin to separate categories from products within the WooCommerce archive loop.
By default the categories will be shown in a grid of 4 on desktop, three on tablet landscape, two on tablet portrait, and one on mobile.
You can easily override this behaviour using CSS.

Using The WordPress Dashboard (Recommended)

Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
Search for ‘EDH Shop Categories’
Click ‘Install Now’
Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard

Uploading in WordPress Dashboard

Download the plugin from WordPress or Github
Navigate to the ‘Add New’ in the plugins dashboard
Navigate to the ‘Upload’ area
Select edh-shop-categories.zip from your computer
Click ‘Install Now’
Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Using FTP

Download edh-shop-categories.zip
Extract the edh-shop-categories directory to your computer
Upload the edh-shop-categories directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

ЧПП

Where are the settings?: There are no settings for this plugin. It simply outputs any sub-categories on a WooCommerce archive page prior to the product loop.
How can I customise the layout?: Using CSS you can customise the layout to your needs by targeting the „edh-product-cats“ class in the Customizer

body.archive div.edh-product-cats { grid-template-columns: repeat(3, 1fr);} in case someone struggles for the css, this worked for me to make the categories appear in 3 columns instead of the standard 4.
