This is a very simple plugin that uses Javascript to form a collapsable set of\nlinks in the sidebar for the pages. Every page corresponding to a given\nparent page will be expanded.<\/p>\n\n
It is largely based off of my Collapsing Pages and Collapsing Pages\nplugins.<\/p>\n\n

CAVEAT<\/h3>\n\n
Currently this plugin relies on Javascript to expand and collapse the links.\nIf a user's browser doesn't support javascript they won't see the links to the\nposts, but the links to the pages will still work (which is the default\nbehavior in wordpress anyways)<\/p>\n\n\n
IMPORTANT!\nPlease deactivate before upgrading, then re-activate the plugin.<\/p>\n\n
MANUAL INSTALLATION\n(the only option for pre 2.3 wordpress, unless you have the widget plugin installed)<\/p>\n\n
Unpackage contents to wp-content\/plugins\/ so that the files are in\na collapsPage directory. Now enable the plugin. To use the plugin,\nchange the following where appropriate (most likely sidebar.php):<\/p>\n\n

The above will fall back to the WP function for pages if you disable\nthe plugin.<\/p>\n\n
WIDGET INSTALLATION<\/p>\n\n
For those who have widget capabilities, (default in Wordpress 2.3+), installation is easier.<\/p>\n\n
Unzip contents to wp-content\/plugins\/ so that the files are in a\ncollapsing-pages directory. You must enable the Collapsing Pages plugin, then\nsimply go the Presentation > Widgets section and add the Collapsing Pages\nWidget.<\/p>\n\n\n
\nHow do I change the style of the collapsing categories lists?<\/h3><\/dt>\nAs of version 0.5.3, there are several default styles that come with\ncollapsing-categories. You can choose from these in the settings panel, or you\ncan create your own custom style. A good strategy is to choose a default, then\nmodify it slightly to your needs.<\/p>\n\n
The following classes are used:\n* collapsing - applied to all ul and li elements\n* pages - applied to all ul and li elements\n* list - applied to the top-level ul\n* item - applied to each li which has no sub-elements\n* expand - applied to a page which can be expanded (is currently\n collapsed)\n* collapse - applied to a page which can be collapsed (is currently\n expanded)\n* sym - class for the expanding \/ collapsing symbol<\/p>\n\n
