- Unzip the downloaded plugin file
social-media-user-detection.zip, - Upload the
social-media-user-detectionthe to the/wp-content/plugins/directory, - Activate the plugin „Social Media User Detection“ through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress,
- That’s it! You will now see a new menu item under „Settings“ called „User Detection“. Follow the instructions at http://adaptpartners.com/wordpress/social-media-user-detection/ to setup your Facebook App and Custom Segments in Google Analytics (easy) and you’re ready to go!
