It improves your site’s performance by converting images to WebP or AVIF, resizing them and cleaning up what you don’t need, automatically on upload. Starting from version 4.0.0 all the features of the former PRO version are included for free, with no license required. #### Conversion and compression * Automatic conversion to WebP or AVIF on upload. * Server-side conversion (Imagick or GD) or browser-side conversion to save server resources. * Adjustable WebP and AVIF quality, with Lossy / Glossy / Lossless presets. * Option to delete original images after a successful conversion. * Remove unnecessary metadata from images (requires Imagick). #### Resizing and thumbnails * Automatic resizing to a maximum width and height. * Disable the WordPress default big image threshold. * Choose which thumbnail sizes WordPress should generate. #### Bulk tools * Optimize all images in the Media Library in batches, with adjustable batch size. * „Optimize Selected Images“ in both the list and grid views of the Media Library. * Fix image attachments across posts and pages. #### Alternative text * Automatic ALT text generation on upload. * Customizable template with {post_title}, {title}, {caption}, {filename}, {site_title} and {sku} (WooCommerce). * Bulk generation and a „Generate ALT TEXT“ button in the Media Library. #### Performance * Lazy loading: images load only when visible. * Preload of the critical (LCP) image for better Core Web Vitals. #### Clear admin interface * Settings organized in a sidebar, with an „ON“ badge on the features that are active. * Server information at a glance: image library in use (Imagick or GD), WebP and AVIF support, output format and conversion engine. #### Add-ons Image Cleaner, Image Watermarker, Image Protector and Image Organizer are available as free add-ons on GitHub. ## Снимци екрана [[ [[ [[ [[ ## Постављање 1. Upload the `coding-bunny-image-optimizer-lite` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install the plugin from the Plugins screen in WordPress. 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen. 3. Go to Image Optimizer in the admin menu to configure it. If you were using the former PRO version from GitHub, deactivate and delete it before activating this one. Your settings are kept. ## ЧПП ### How do I enable automatic image conversion? Open the Conversion tab in the plugin settings and turn on „Automatic Conversion“. ### Can I keep the original images after conversion? Yes. Leave the „Delete Original Images“ option off. ### How do I set the maximum dimensions for image resizing? Set the maximum width and height in the Resizing tab of the settings. ### How do I know if my server supports AVIF? The sidebar of the plugin settings shows whether WebP and AVIF are supported by your server. If the selected output format is not supported, it is highlighted in yellow. ### Do I still need a license?
