This plugin will help facilitate the download and installation of two official WordPress plugins that enable to you securely enable applications to connect to your WordPress site. You can read more about those two plugins: WP Rest API and OAuth 1.0a Server
Note that the WP REST API is only required for WordPress versions less than 4.7. Starting with 4.7, the REST API is included with WordPress installations
