Copy the plugin folder into /wp-content/plugins
Activate plugin via the plugins page in the WordPress admin
Go to Settings to configure.

Added CSS rules makes no effect.
It seems to be other CSS overriding your rules. You can prevent this by adding !important in your rule.

I made some mistake in the code I had put in the editor and so the plugin didn't work initially. And I happened to approach Prasad for help. Within 20 minutes of my first email, the issue got resolved by the plugin developer Prasad Kirpekar. Thanks a lot Prasad. Really appreciate your help. The job is finally done!
